  4. Cut in finger. Is it normal?

Hi, My friend got a cut in his finger by a broken glass yesterday. He got tetanus and dressed up the wound yesterday itself. But the physician he is consulting gave him one more injection today called monocef and also said him that there will be two more dosage of same injections. Is it normal??

Monocef is an antibiotic,which he has prescribed to prevent infection
