First time in tackling any problem with drugs and alcohol is being able to identify that it is causing problem for you. I'm glad that you have already cleared this step. Next step would be to consult with a doctor, preferably a psychiatrist who can prescribe you medications as well as advice therapy about how you can stay away from alcohol and manage craving.. Another important aspect would be get yourself evaluated thoroughly with regards to your physical health, like cardiac and liver status especially..
