Dangue +ve
Fever range 101- 104 and above. Blood test shows dangue. Platelets 175 on 22-10-2018 Today platelets 147. Fever 104, after giving dolo 650, again fevers comes. No other complaint. Please advise

Hi..dengue usually does not require any treatment as long as the platelets levels are fine..paracetamol is the only medication that u can take in view of fever..if temperature crosses 100 degrees F then sponging with cold water helps to bring down the temperature..

Repeat platelet levels as advised by your physician as that is very crucial in dengue

Viral infections like dengue require no specific treatment. Just maintain good hydration,rest & Paracetamol.
