Dark line on nose

I used to pick whiteheads on my nose., But one day my nose suddenly starts peeling its skin and now my nose is some what darker than the rest areas and a dark horizontal line runs along my nose...what is it that???does it go away on its own...???

Thanks for the query. These are possibly comedones and removing them with nails may cause a problem, you need to find why are they happening and it can be done easily by consulting a dermatologist. Salicylic acid based face washes can work well for you and chemical peels in multiple sessions can also be considered. Kindly consult a dermatologist for precise treatment plan. Dark lines , a transverse band usually stays if untreated.
