De quervain's tenosynovitis
Hello, I have De Quervain in my right hand since March 1st week. Since yesterday I have got it in my left hand also. I'm 32 weeks pregnant and I have gestational diabetes. I had taken 10 sessions of Physiotherapy(Ultrasound) for the right hand. But it took its own time to heal. It had reduced a little but now the pain in my right hand also has increased. Should I just continue with the exercise or consult orthopedic?

Sometimes such symptoms appear during pregnancy, but they usually settle down after pregnancy. Fomantation in warm water usually helps. You must take balanced diet with vitamin supplements. Relax. Every thing will be ok. God bless.

Don't do any exercise it will aggravate your symptoms. Just use an orthotic to give rest to affected tendons and use local application of volini gel with hot fomenting for time being. Dolo 650 is analgesic to be preferred if necessary after consulting your obstetrician. consult me online for confirmation of diagnosis and further planning
