Degenerative spondylolisthesis L spine

Asked for Male, 28 Years

Hello doctor,my father is suffering due to back pain ,leg pain from last 1 year.We consulted with spine specialist and X ray, MRI done.He suggested for microscopic lumber decompression surgery. I am little bit tensed because not sure whether my father will able to recover from surgery as his age is 60. I am looking for options to without surgery first.Can you advice on this ?
