Degenerative spondylolisthesis L spine
Hello doctor,my father is suffering due to back pain ,leg pain from last 1 year.We consulted with spine specialist and X ray, MRI done.He suggested for microscopic lumber decompression surgery. I am little bit tensed because not sure whether my father will able to recover from surgery as his age is 60. I am looking for options to without surgery first.Can you advice on this ? Regards, Mayur

The problem of degenerative spine disease occours in this age only. microscopic dissectomy is a minimally invasive procedure and your father is sure to recover soon from his ailment post surgery. make sure that his blood pressure, diabetes and thyroid disorders are in control before surgery.
