Delayed Periods
I have severe PCOD. My last ultrasound was last year and after that I was prescribed Diane 35 for 8 months. After taking the medicine for 8 months (a little irregularly) I stopped it. After I stopped, I immediately got my period but since then it has been 2 months without bleeding. Could this be a side effect of stopping the medication?

Pcod related irregular periods are due to imbalance of two hormones in the body ( more estrogen and less progesterone). People with pcod need to bring back balance by taking progesterone pills ( which is deficient in the body) to get periods. Diane is a pill wiyh both hormones and while u take it, balance is maintained. When u stop, the balance goea away. Consult directly for further details
