Dengue fever
Good morning doctor, I am a student of bechlor of  humanity .And my father had suffering from dengue.in the first 3 days i give home treatment like juice of papaya leaves 2 time daily.And fever goes down in the 3 day. And in 3days my father doesn't digest food and come out back from mouth but when i taken my father to doctor for checkup .they said that" should admit in the hospital for 2-3 days" for saline solution from having in the weakness in the body. and saline solution to my father.does it help form recovering from dengue fever.

If all the vital statistics are good and within normal range. Go for CBC blood test. And only if the platelets are below 30000/dl or if oral reception of food is not possible, you need to admit. Else if you have no one to take good care at home you may think for admission for recovery and observation.

Hi there,  if there is dehydration its better to give it.  Meanwhile u can try homeopathy too if the platelet count has reduced.
