Denova Histoid leprosy
I had suffered from denova histoid leprosy in 2013.so I had treated with MDT & other antibiotics for two years.In 2015 my test report was show my deases was cleared so doctor stopped medicine. but in 2016 March  suddenly reaction was occurred Enl was spread in my arm ,leg ,face ,feet and back they are very painful & suffering heavy fever so same doctor was prescribed Steroid (deflazcort),Thalidomide ,MDT & minocyolin.Thalidomide was continued from six months, MDT continued from one year & now steroid continued yet.but after one year  continued all these medicine my deases reaction not cleared now & when stopped steroid even one day stop en reaction again occurs.one year continued steroid other side effects now spredas in my body example stretch marks,  weight gain, moon face etc,I want to independently on steroid & how enl reaction will be cleared.

ENL can happen for quite long even after treatment..It's nothing but just a allergic reaction to dead bacilli, now u might have become steroid dependent ...In such cases we  have stop steroids gradually and look for other alternative drugs like thalidomide, HCQS,Clofazimine etc.but u need constant checkups according to response.
