Dear patient, it is advised to replace dental caps only when either the cap is damaged or the tooth has infection , in which case re-rct is advised. If there is no symptoms of infection or broken cap, no need for replacement.

Get a general dental check up done every 6 months to a year. It is not necessary to change a cap unless there is a problem with the cap. If the root canal treatment is fine, there is no need for a re-root canal treatment when the cap is changed..
