Depressed and anger issues
Hi I am a working professional. Due to bad childhood memories and bad past experience in family, i am having many mental problems. I feel depressed, angry, frustrated and numb when i am alone at home. I don’t feel confident and feel disgusted for myself. In public i am fine. I also hurt myself physically. Please suggest what to do?

Hello, Harming self is not right.  Obviously with the symptoms that you have mentioned the right step is to visit a psychiatrist.  And then the next task is to work on the mind. Feeling of sadness is a normal part of everyday life even when nothing major has happened. But when some severe situation happens, then it is obvious that anyone can get impacted. Few situations that can make anyone sad are : Trauma, grief, financial troubles, issues in career, wrong concepts about self, sudden Increase in responsibility, some major issues in marriage, or issues on personal relationships, divorce and separation, issues with children, death of love one, etc. Any of these situations can lead to sadness. If the emotion has existed, it is sure that there must be some reason behind it. It may seem to you, that there is no reason for your sadness, but nothing happens in this world, without a reason. The reason may be suppressed in your sub-conscious awareness, but it exists. Also sometimes people don’t know how to deal with the any particular situation and this becomes the reason of their sadness. So it is more about how to deal with the situation and not the situation itself. We understand how difficult it is to even start thinking about doing something to change the life when you are in your low, especially when this has been happening from such a long time. We know you feel no hope.  This happens because continued depression alters thinking capabilities, behavior and feelings of person. This state of mind interferes our daily functioning of life. And continued depression makes life more miserable and even kills the hope of a good forever.  The good news is that there are ways to recover from this state. Obviously the first step is to visit a psychiatrist near your home and get the needed treatment.   Subscribe to YOUTUBE CHANNEL – KAMAL KHURANA  (300 PLUS VIDEOS).
