Hey there! I understand how difficult it must be for you to deal with everything that has been going on. I wish I could tell you exactly what is going on, but unfortunately it is necessary to understand your concerns in a detailed manner before concluding something. However, on the bright side I will be able to guide you through to get help. First off, let me tell you that you have taken the right step, reaching out for help. A lot of people make the mistake of not reaching out at the right time and I am proud of you for realising it when you needed help and for reaching out! The best thing you can do is to consult a therapist. Since you have been having difficulty in multiple perspectives like sleeping, appetite, intrusive thoughts, negativity and more it is best that you consult a professional to get a reliable and effective treatment plan. A psychologist is a mental health professional who would be able to guide you through and help you deal with your concerns. Your therapist will be able to determine which concern needs immediate attention and which ones can be dealt with a little later into your therapy sessions. Here are a few quick changed you can make in your life to help you feel better while you figure out how to set your therapy sessions: Make exercise/stretching a habit- Even if it is a quick 10 minute workout, make sure to squeeze in a little time for your therapy sessions. Eat easily digestible food. Take deep breaths when you experience negative thoughts or when you feel moody. Talk to your loved ones for support. Venting out your feelings can always make you feel better. Look for support groups- A support group is a safe space for you to share your feelings and meet other people who are in the same boat as you are. Talking to people who are going through the same concerns and have similar experiences are of great help.

Realize this that YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE who can bring yourself out of it. Here is what you should do 1) Identify the reason: Accepting and identifying the reason will help you get real. Think of alternatives that could have been done. Nobody gets everything. Everyone has one or other thing lagging. Learn from the incident and move on promising yourself to not commit such mistakes. 2) A small vacation: Plan a small trip, which you have been ignoring for a long time. It need not to be a costly one, but something which could take out of this place and please don’t carry your metal baggage. Give time to yourself. Talk to strangers and you yourself will witness that the earth is such a nice place to be. 3) Talk about it: The biggest mistake which people suffering from depression do is that they distance themselves from others. Talk to your friends and family about it and let them know how you feel. You are not doing this to have their sympathy rather you are doing it because they care for you and deserve to know your state. The remembrance of happy moments which you shared with them will help you in coming out of it. 4) Pick up a hobby: As rightly said that an ideal brain is a devil’s workshop. Continue your hobbies or pick a new one. The possibilities are endless and who knows where it will take you. A personal note here I happen to know a person who started landscaping just because she wanted to come out of her depression. Today she is a proud owner of a terrace garden and is one of the cheerful members of my gang. 5) Seek professional help: If the problem is severe there is no harm in taking professional help. After all, they are the people who have seen many like you are back to normal. In the end it all depend on YOU. You are driving force of your life. A popular hindi song says “duniya mai kitna gam hai, mera gam kitna kam hai “(there is so much sorrow I this world compared to which my miseries are so less). Experience the joy of giving and sharing. After all life is all about how we interact with each other.

Hi Friend... Yes you have depressed thoughts.. yes you have migraine issues... yes you are experiencing pain both at mental and physical level.... yes you feel like to be isolated..... Be aware what is happening with you.... say yes and accept what is happening to you. Now let us break the situation down. When you feel life is boring, then you loose interest in living. When you loose interest in living, then you don't feel like taking food. When you don't give proper food to your body, it won't get energy to do regular normal functions and you feel pain. When normal functions of the body disturb, mind gets disturb. When mind gets disturb, it naturally get vague and negative thoughts. So this cycle continues. It is okay... It is the part and parcel of understanding the life. Just work on your emotions, feelings, mind and body in a right way. Get assistance to come out of the situation. Everything should be fine. Good Luck.
