M suffering from depression taking medicines for depression from 3 yrs so from 3 yrs I was feeling gud nd calm mind,stress free,able to focus on my academics from depressive mood,unable to focus on my academics, prolonged thinking disorder.now suddenly my dr changed my medicine nd started my medicine for bipolar disorder including carilift 1.5,licab xl,qutan 100,risdone LS a week before when I was very happy with the medicine for depression which helps me in living a very gud life in all aspects including gud professional life,personal life,stress free,jolly mood,calm, relaxed,motivated nd focus on my academics very good life.my dr misunderstood my situation as bipolar disorder just because I was feeling very energetic nd motivated from 2 yrs.these medicines for bipolar are very hard causes lack of energy,causes too much weight gain ,causes sleepiness whole day nd night nd causes excessive thrust whole day nd night.kindly suggest that which medicine nd blood test I go through?

It's unusual that the psychiatrist misinterpreted your energetic & motivated state of 2 years, it must have been a recent change which made him think on the lines of manic or hypomanic episode and consequently change in treatment. If you still feel that he has committed a mistake, you should definitely consult another psychiatrist in person and get things clarified and your treatment optimised.
