I am pregnant and started my ninth month. my sugar level has gone upto 162. my doctor asked to take medicines. please advice

You are mostly suffering from gestational diabetes which happens towards the end of pregnancy. Medicines and dietary changes are required and it can be managed well. It usually goes away after delivery, but is a sign that you may develop permanent diabetes in the future. So you will need regular testing even after delivery.
