Diabetes ..
My father was diagnosed with diabetes many year ago but under medication and it was under control but few days back his sugar went up to 360 (fasting) now even the diet is controlled still its sugar level is going above 300 level his speech is slurred. Is it normal (slurred speech) and weakness. Or it can be anything else.

The slurred speech may be due to increase in the blood sugar levels and your father needs immediate clinical examination from the any general physician.
And it may be due to increase in the blood pressure also.
Please try to contact your father any nearby general physician and go through the clinical examination and find out the solution.
