Hello sir .. Father age 55  he was diabetic and bp patient yesterday in lab we done sugar test fbs 160 rbs 280 And today we went hospital as monthly checkup doctor was shocked to see report of above he said how increased than he advice spot diabetic finger test at  7pm And result is 180 shows in digital meter hence he said might be it's lab fault he said but we conused Finally he prescribed same tablets as regular below Ctdt am 6.5 Trivoglator 1 May I know can banana also increase sugar pls advice.. And pls advice about lab reporting vs digital Spot test reporting difference ranges why is this common nor both have to be equal always pls give clarity

Banana should be avoided. Meter readings have a variation of 10-20% based on quality. Lab is considered more accurate
