Difference btwn neurology & psychiatry?
I have doubt regarding neurology and psychiatry, Is both are relatively same? 1) Neurology treats brain related problems,spine & nerves 2) Psychiatry gives counseling for psychological related,, does both related to brain related problems? Does both field gives treatment for brain only? Or else any relative difference between neurology & Psychiatry(psychology) Please give me your valuable answers & clarify the both 2 questions which mentioned above

In simple words, neurology deals with problems of the brain, spine and nerve, while psychiatry deals with issues of thought, perception and behaviour. There is some overlap between the two but simply put they can be thought of as hardware issues in neurology and software issues in psychiatry
