Hello, The first thing you need to do is go to a Psychiatrist. Dr Vipul Rastogi in Medanta is good and you can give him my reference. Second , start counselling/ psychotherapy with a therapist. You can do face to face or online sessions with a therapist.
Next Steps
With the above to steps Larn to identify the negative thoughts and do the opposite of what they tell you to do. For example , if you don't feel like meeting people, deliberately make a plan. Seek help of a trusted family member or a friend to call you and meet you and take you out every three days, even if you refuse and don't want to. Also, externalise your Depression. This means you behave the way you do or think the way you do as a symptom of Depression. See Depression as an illness that has symptoms affecting you. This will help you rationally and objectively see your issues.

Loss of interest, decreased concentration and attention, feeling low and disturbed sleep or appetite are some of the signs of depression. Consult a psychiatrist who will assess you in detail. If you are feeling suicidal or hopeless, seek professional help immediately. Try some relaxation techniques like yoga, meditation and deep breathing. Indulge in hobbies. Spend time with people close to you.
