It is the 9th day since my 3rd molar extraction and i also got my stitch removed yesterday and the doctor also confirmed that healing is proper but i have been experiencing some kind of discomfort, slight pain and sensitivity in the area after i gently brushed the area today as i had not brushed around the area since many days post removal. Is this pain/discomfort/sensitivity a matter of concern?

It's absolutely normal to feel mild pain over extracted tooth area for some days.
Try to maintain good oral hygiene by brushing twice a day, warm saline water rinses two to three times a day, use mouthwash.
You can take pain killer also.
Still have queries then please consult with doctor online or offline for better guidance.
Nothing to be concerned, post suture removal you will have mild discomfort.you should be alright in 4-5 days. Please use pain killers if needed as prescribed.
It is absolutely normal to feel uncomfortable after removal of sutures. Your wound is still in the process of healing so mild pain here and there is something we would not be very concerned about at this stage. You can continue with medication sos for the pain if it lasts beyond your tolerance. Otherwise you can simply have some cold food stuff.
Don't skip brushing, avoid touching the wound while brushing. You can instead start rinsing your mouth with warm salt water after every meal to keep the area clean as well as to fasten the healing process as well.
