Ditligesic use duration

Asked for Male, 58 Years

I had a bout of loose motions a month back .There was acute pain inside anul area . Dr diagnosed that there is skin rupture inside anus and prescribed Diltigesic cream . Please suggest for how much duration I should use the cream . It appears that its not completely healed ( though 95% healed ) . Thanks
