Dog bite wound healing
My Friend had a dog bite on 3rd May 2019. It was treated by giving anti rabies immunoglobulin at site and the anti-rabies vaccination for the 5 course of doses, ended on 31 may 2019. The wound was deep and graded 3rd degree by the doctor. The skin over the wound dried with time and the dried skin came off today. The wound is now open and still looks deep. How much time does it take for the wound to close? Is it normal for it to take this long?
