I was taking att for 6 months . In the 6th month of treatment I got blurry vision , light sensitivity and central scotoma . What is the treatment ? How long it will take to recover?

Hi ..people taking ATT should keep doing eye checks to rule out any toxicity. Generally physicians advise about that.
You will hv to stop medication and your physcian has to plan for alternative ATT.
In early stages, the chances of recovery are good...but you already have scotoma ..so wait and watch .

Sir all these issues are because of retrobulbar neuritis due the the Anti Tubercular Medications. Usually a 50% recovery occurs in around 6 months of cessesation of the medication involved , the decision has to be taken by your Ophthalmologist and Physician. A prompt action will definitely help. So better to consult in person with your Ophthalmologist and Physician.
