For dry cough, try home remedies like drinking warm liquids like honey tea, ginger tea, or broth, inhaling steam from a bowl of hot water or a steam humidifier, sucking on lozenges or cough drops, gargling with salt water, taking thyme or slippery elm supplements, and staying hydrated with plenty of fluids.

Dear Patient, Thank you for sharing your symptoms. A dry cough persisting for three months is a concern and could be indicative of various underlying conditions such as allergies, asthma, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), or even a chronic respiratory infection. The fact that your cough is accompanied by a noticeable neck sound suggests that there might be some irritation or inflammation in your throat or airways. While cough syrup can provide temporary relief, it is essential to identify and address the root cause of your cough. Persistent coughing can lead to further complications if not treated appropriately. I strongly recommend that you schedule a consultation for a thorough evaluation. We may need to conduct some tests to determine the exact cause of your symptoms and to rule out any serious conditions. Please feel free to reach out to me directly for a detailed consultation. You can contact me on WhatsApp at eight zero zero nine eight two one three three two. Take care and I look forward to assisting you further.
