Dry cough from 8-9 months
I have been suffering from cough. It doesn't Happen too much but sometimes it happens many times. It has been 8-9 months old. Sometimes it doesn't happen whole day but happens at night(cold), morning.

Cough for more than 2 weeks is a reason of worry. RNTCP mentions clearly that more than 2 weeks cough might be due to Tuberculosis. Get a Chest XRay PA view and Sputum for AFB done. Also chronic allergy state might cause cough. Test for Absolute Eosinophil count and Serum IgE. Cough at night which impedes normal sleep is an indicator of cardiac disorder. Do an ECG/Echo to rule out cardiac cause You can take medicines containing antihistaminics to soothe that itch in your throat. Further medication depends on the outcome of your reports.
