Dry cough with light fever
My 4yr kid had 102F fever for past 2 days, but temperature came down now. However suffering frm continues dry cough, which make her unable to sleep & eat. Gave ambrolite syrup 2 doses still not cured. Pls advise.

If mild, avoid unnecessary meds and just give steam inhalations for cold and cough and decongestant nasal drops for nasal blockade or increased cough on lying down.
If not improving OR accompanied by other symptoms like wheezing or breathlessness or dullness and refusal to feed, consult your paediatrician for physical examination and treatment.
