There are no symptoms of ectopic pregnancy. Only if it's on the verge of rupture, there is severe abdominal pain and spotting per vaginum. Any kind of bleeding during pregnancy or highly different from periods is considered vaginal bleeding.

I hope you appreciate that "symptoms" means what the patient tells about himself/herself and "signs" means what we see in the patient. To that extent the simple answer to your question is that "there are no special symptoms in Ectopic pregnancy". It starts as a normal pregnancy (whatever symptoms normal pregnancy has) and it suddenly ruptures and  patient has severe abdominal pain. But that is if the ectopic pregnancy ruptures. As long as that doesn't happen there is no way a patient or a Doctor can suspect that it could be  ectopic pregnancy.
