Elevated liver enzymes
Hi my liver enzymes are elevated . SGPT is 86.62 and SGOT is 45.98 . What does this indicate ? If it's fatty liver than which grade is it ?

Increase in liver enzymes level may be due to fatty liver.Ultrasound liver will determine the grade of fatty liver.You should get your blood investigation including lipids profile, glucose level and thyroid function tests.

Hi
Sgpt and sgot high with sgpt>sgot at your age means it's mostly due to steatosis (fatty liver)
But still you need to go for ultrasound of abdomen for the same and some basic blood reports.
Also if irregular menses/pcos - mostly it is fatty liver.
If overweight, also go get your lipid profile and random blood sugar checked.

Go for Ultrasound Abdomen
Will know the grade of fatty liver if at all. Could b due to PCOS
Cut down of fatty foods / exercise / loose weight if obese
Liver enzymes are self limiting
Get back to normal with correction of all these factors
