What is the difference between Hysteroscopy and Endometrial Biopsy? I have infertility problem and in ultrasound Dr. Found a Endometrial polyp.. So she took a Endometrial biopsy(Mgit hpe)

Hi good evening Thnxs for your question Don't worry so much Endometrial polyp can diagnosed and treatment at same time by hysteroscopy. Better to do hysteroscopy and take out entire polyp and send it to lab. No need to do endometrial biopsy separately. Thnxs

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  Hysteroscopy is to just see the uterus from inside. And endometrial biopsy is to take a small piece of the endometrium. Thats it. Consult a gynaecologist in person for further evaluation and management. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.
