Sir/madem, I am experiencing excessive sweating in my body especially from forehead area even in moderate work.My weight is 87 kg and Fasting Blood Suger is 104. Presently I am taking fenofibrate tablets to reduce my triglyceride level under doctor advise. Is sweating related to high cholestrole/suger/stress levels or is it is gene related. How can I overcome this situation.

Hello Excessive sweating all over the body seen in certain individuals with out any cause At times it may be due to abnormal autonomic dysfunction Neurasthenia ,anxiety or stress are common cause and many complaints sweating in the palms. Other condition like thyrotoxicosis can lead to increased sweating. Whether you are having sweating only on moderate activity or even when when taking rest not mentioned. Decreasing in sugar can also lead to sweating due to over sympathetic stimulation.since u have excess sweating only on forehead may not be a significant Issue.

Excessive sweating is usually inherited and has no special significance. Exclude hyperthyroid disorder(Endocrinologist) and if normal, stop worrying.
