What is exposed tooth root ad how to diagnose it?? And what is gum recession ?? Any advice regarding treating them??

Normal gum level should be at the level of Enamel, but due to gum infection etc, gum level reduces and root of the tooth get exposed..... Visit your dentist and get it treatment.....

take full mouth xray (OPG) for evaluating you bone level near the tooth

Gum recession is loss of gum attachment from the tooth surface (crown) thus exposing the roots. Caused by a number of reasons. You should visit your dentist to find out the possible etiology of gum recession and get needful treatment done.

Gingival recession is lowering of gum margins from crown of tooth onto root exposing root. It may lead to increase sensitivity. Depending upon type gingival recession can be successfully treated with free gingival graft, connective tissue graft.
