Eye fatigue/conjunctivitis
My friend's eyes have been red since 3-4 days now and it has started to pain. Also because of rubbing the eyes it has become worse. It could be eye fatigue or conjunctivitis.

Yes it could be conjunctivitis but it comes with discharge, watering and irritation.
If redness and pain is there it could be N number of things.
But not fatigue.
