Apply cold compresses 3-4 times a day
For pain she can take an over the counter medication - Paracetmol or Diclofenac whenever there is pain

As per your narration, u r suffering from blepheritis of eye lid & acute conjunctivitis.
Next Steps
Leukwarm compression of affected eye, two times a day × Days
Frequent tape water washing of eye is recommended.
