Hi Doctor.. My mom has a stye above the eyelid for more than 8 months. There is no pain as such but the lump is not healing.. so can you please tell what to do?

From your description I think it is not stye but chalazion, lying  painless as such since 8 months it is related with meibomian gland, for its removal ,you need minor surgery, there will be no scar on skin because incision will be from conjunctival side of lid, with regards
