Fear of DVT
(23 yr old male, slightly overweight) I went on holiday recently and did a lot of driving: regularly three to seven hours a day, with some days off. I got up and walked for at least a minute or two every 2-3 hours. Some days had big walks between driving, but not all. Am I likely to have developed DVT?

Hello there. I can understand your concern. DVT or Deep Vein Thrombosis doesn't develop like that. You can take precautions like losing weight and all. Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption. Consult a MD consultant physician in person for further evaluation and management. He will be able to help you further. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain. Bangalore.
