Lifestyle and Diet Recommendations: 1. Weight Management: Losing weight gradually through a combination of diet and exercise can help reduce fat accumulation in the liver and improve liver function. Aim for a healthy weight loss of 0.5-1 kg per week. 2. Diet Modifications: • Low-Fat Diet: Reduce consumption of saturated fats, trans fats, and fried foods, which can exacerbate fatty liver. • Healthy Fats: Include sources of unsaturated fats such as olive oil, avocados, nuts, and fatty fish (like salmon and mackerel) rich in omega-3 fatty acids. • Fiber-Rich Foods: Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains to promote digestion and reduce cholesterol absorption. • Limit Sugars: Reduce intake of sugary foods and beverages, which can contribute to fatty liver and weight gain. 3. Physical Activity: Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise per week, such as brisk walking, swimming, or cycling, to improve liver function and overall health. 4. Alcohol Avoidance: Avoid alcohol completely or limit intake as advised by your healthcare provider, as alcohol can worsen liver damage.
