Having fever , headache and harshness in throat. Can any one suggest how to get some comfort. Recently I went to dentist with some cavity issues. He recommended some antacids like med. Any remedy.

Drink plenty of water,eat soft foods like cooked cereal, mashed potatoes, soft fruits, yogurt and soft-cooked eggs...give adequate rest to your body..Avoid spicy foods or acidic foods.
Gargle with warm salt water. gargling several times a day can help relieve throat pain....you will require antibiotics to clear up infection..Consult physician or ent surgeon.

Cap.Amoxi 500 mg three times a day
Tab. Cetrizine 10 mg three times a day
and meet your doctor at the earliest

I can understand your concern.
You can do salt water gargles thrice a day.
Take a paracetamol 650mg twice a day for managing fever.
Paracetamol will also control your body pain and headache also.
Drink lots of water and have a soft diet. Avoid oily and spicy foods.
Consult a general physician in person for further management if the issue still persists.

Hello...... Change of voice, fever, headache suggestive of throat infection , if you have cold and cough change of voice is expected .... Don't take oil, curried food items for few days, gargle with salt water, consult general physician in nearest hospital . . ................
