Finger cut in newborn
Hi doctor, My baby is 1month 18days old. Today while cutting nail accidentally finger skin got cut. I am tensed. Please advice what I can do to heal the wound. Is TT injection needed?

Apply any antiseptic ointment like T Bact or neosporin 3 times a day for 5 days. Follow his routine vaccination schedule, which includes TT.

Tt u would have covered  in vaccine u gave at 1 and half months... Apply t bact cream 3 times a day for 5 days

If you have taken two dose of TT during pregnancy then no need to take. Consult pediatrician and do dressing.

TT not required. It is incorporated in the vaccination given at 6 weeks
