Dear don't get upset..
Your reproductive system made up of uterus, tubes, ovaries and under hormonal influences.. which work in rhythm and interact with each other...
In simple words this cycle, its not in rythum..
Nothing to worry ..
Consult your doctor again and ask all queries..
Continue follicular study till day 17, if still msf persists then its unlikely that u will get pregnant this cycle. This can happen sometime cause of some hormonal imbalance, dietary changes, weight gain or some illness. U may require higher dose of letrozole or injectables for ovulation induction next cycle. It is advisable that you go for next step of treatment or investigations after 5-6 cycles of failed ovulation induction like hysterolaparoscopy or IUI depending upon ur previous reports.
Hello, dear user thanks for consultation on Practo platform, msg means multiple small follicles, it is normal, as these are normal eggs in the ovarian cortex in various stages of development, if you have delayed periods, Hormonal imbalance, and ovaries in USG show multiple follicles at periphery with increased ovarian volume suggest pcoD, then for more details can consult with reports.
It seems like you are either not responding to this particular medicine or the given dose...you can try planned relation from day12-18 in this cycle
But next cycle the dosage needs to be changed
Medications to be taken also depend on conditions like PCOD/ previous treatment etc
Next Steps
Start folic acid tablet
planned relation this cycle
next cycle change of dosage
contact if further query
Its possible you are resistant to the present protocol
I suggest the hormonal treatment and close usg monitor.
Unless you complete one cycle with hormones cannot predict next.
Prior to this get hormonal assay to ascertain PCOS.
GOOD LUCK
Follicular response this time is not there however if no response this time probably the tablet or the dose needs to be changed
Your gynaecologist will decide on that
Hello ,
It is unlikely that you will conceive in this cycle . I would suggest you take a break from induction for a couple of months . Please visit your gynaecologist after that to decide on the further course of action ( change of medicines or increasing dose ) .
The good news is that you have been responding well to induction in your previous cycles , so hopefully you are pregnant soon !
Take care
Pregnancy in this cycle unlikely. You must take a break from ovulation induction and give your body sufficient time to heal before opting for another cycle with GnRH analogue ( injectable medicine for ovulation induction)
As u did scan on 12 th day directly.u must have missed .it might have already ovulated on day 11 or day12 . .fs scan to be done day 3,9,11,and so on tobtracr growth.
Maintain Contact with husband today .and wait forv2 weeks for the results.
Msf means your follicles didn't grow. You will need an increase in the dose. But only under supervision. These medications can be dangerous. Also you can take them only for 6 cycles
Every cycle is not the same. You have had good follicular development in the past. So maybe this is just one of those cycles where ovary took a break from responding to medication. That is okay. But considering the fact that you have already had 5 such cycles in the past, maybe it is time to evaluate further regarding the problem why you have not conceived yet. Consult the Gynaecologist for further studies for both you and your partner.
