It largely depends on the intake, if your water intake is very much then you are bound to urinate more Normally in one go person urinate around 250 ml of urine so if you are going for 12 times so total of 3 litres it should be. If it is significantly less then there may be some problem So you can get ultrasound with pvru done for the same

Normal person urinates 8 to 10 times a day It depends on quantity of water you consume More water intake leads to increased frequency of urination

At the outset urination 12 times is definitely, increased frequency of urine. However before coming to any decision I would like to know exact time and volume urine passed . Then start the medication along with investigation like Urine Culture, uroflowmetery,, and Ultrasound of kidney, bladder & prostate.
