Hello, Foreign bodies usually come out of the eye soon after they enter. But usually due to minor injury it leaves the sensation behind even after it's long gone. So what you maybe feeling is just a foreign body sensation and not foreign body itself.
Next Steps
Get an eye exam from a certified ophthalmologist to rule out presence of foreign body! Use artificial tears to relieve the sensation. Try Refresh tears or Genteal eyedrops 4 times a day.
Health Tips
once you start using the drops, the sensation must go down. In case it doesn't come down after 2-3 times, better get a detailed evaluation to rule out a lodged foreign body. Do not rub eyes.
