Fragmented stools 5-6 times a day .
I am a IBS patient . 1.5 yrs back diagonised with depression . Currently on fludac 20 . For the past 5 days there has been bowel movements (not loose but fragmented)6-7 times a day with occasional stomach cramps . This happened before but generally subsides after taking metrogyl 400 for a day . But this time metrogyl did not help . Started with norflox tz from yesterday two times a day . Feeling a little better but an urge for bowel movement still persists along with stomach cramps .

Hi..... Eat at regular times. Don't skip meals, and try to eat about the same time each day to help regulate bowel function. If you have diarrhea, you may find that eating small, frequent meals makes you feel better. But if you're constipated, eating larger amounts of high-fiber foods may help move food through your intestines. Take care with dairy products. If you're lactose intolerant, try substituting yogurt for milk. Or use an enzyme product to help break down lactose. Consuming small amounts of milk products or combining them with other foods also may help.
