While having sex, I had my frenulum cut and it led to bleeding profusely, though it stopped in sometime. Its been 2 days since it had happened and I feel pain now when ithe penis is getting harder. And I feel the pain sometime during a day and it's normal again. I feel no pain when I pee or otherwise.
Studies suggested that I need not panic and time will heal..say in 2-3 weeks.
Please advice medication for early cure and recovery.
Thanks in advance.

Frenulum is the name given to the area of sensitive skin on the underside of the penis, right near the center of the head. In intact men, this is the part of skin that attached the foreskin to the penis. In circumcised men, there may be no frenulum; more likely, there is some remnant of the frenulum there. I would advise you to visit general surgeon so that you can be evaluated and confirm the diagnosis so that you can be treated accordingly. The following steps may help:
- Avoid sex or masturbation for six weeks or longer if it hasnât healed fully.
- Avoid using excessive force and speed during masturbation and sex
- Be well lubricated before having coitus.
- Use condoms while having sex
- Keep the area clean and dry
- Maintain a high level of hygiene.
If the condition persists or worsens visit the ER at the earliest.

Dear,
I can understand your apprehension.
Firstly, there is no need to worry as the pain after the cut is very normal. Any body tissue gets tender and pains while it heals. It is a sign of recovery and will subside within couple of weeks.
Meanwhile you can avoid activities such as sex, masturbation, etc.
Take care that there is no superinfection of the wound area. Practice washing hands before and after touching the site. A diluted swab of savlon can be applied twice a day if needed.
I would suggest against the use of any ointment or cream as we need to keep the wound dry and clean.
Steroids are not recommended as it slow downs the process of healing.
If there is pus or swelling at the site, I would strongly suggest to show it to a local doctor soon.
Welcome for further information.

Keep the area dry and clean. Avoid steroids. Consult local doctor is there us much swelling or pus.
Nothing major to worry.
Hi
The torn frenulum will heal by itself provided you give it a rest and not engage in sex for few weeks. You could apply topical steroid creams as betnovate to the area to improve healing.
