Dental Filling or Bonding. If you havechipped off just a small piece of toothenamel, your dentist may repair the damage with a filling. If the repair is to a front tooth or can be seen when you smile, your dentist will likely use a procedure called bonding, which uses a tooth-colored composite resin
Thankyou

Hello mam....
if the broken is superficial then we can restore it with teeth coloured filling...if it is deeper then we need to go for Root canal treatment followed by capping...
First and foremost X-Ray has to be taken to rule out in which level your teeth is broken.....
As you mentioned in the history you are having black discolouration which indicates trauma to the inner most nerve layer which needs root canal treatment....
However proper clinical and radiological examination is necessary to conclude the treatment plan
Next Steps
kindly visit dentist for furthur clinical examination and management
Black discoloration indicates that any trauma might have been done to tooth.
If you remember any accident or accidental injury to your tooth and history?
Do you have any x-ray to check for fracture!
Cost and procedure will vary depending on the type of treatment to be done either it can be filling or root canal depending on the condition of your tooth.
In which city you live?
Next Steps
immediately visit near by dentist get an x-ray done
Health Tips
don't bite anything from front teeth till you seek any help and if painful take Dan- p or combiflam
Hello mam, if it can be filled then we can fill and bring it back to normal size with filling.
If it's very big and deep it might require root canal treatment followed by a cap.
I would advise you to visit your dentist for the better understanding of your condition and get it treated.
