Functional memory loss
My father frequently complaints that he is having hard times to remember a very common thing... he is associated with a very hectic life and some amount of depression and tension also.. Sometimes he cant remember a very common and easy thing such as password name phone no etc.. After sometime he can get back to it.. Why is this happening?? And what is the remedy?? Is there any kind of medication?? Thank you doctor for your help....

Hi......, Everyone forgets things at some time.... Some degree of memory problems, as well as a modest decline in other thinking skills, is a fairly common part of aging. There's a difference,... between normal changes in memory and the type of memory loss associated with neurological disease and related disorders. And some memory problems are the result of treatable conditions.....Consult neurologist they will do the needful.....
