Gastritis coz of Nexito20
I'm taking escitalooram20 from 2-3 years. I'm unable to taper to 15 coz depressive symptoms start coming. For 1 year I didn't have any digestion issues. The only thing that happened was my digestion was becoming weak. Whenever I used to have hard food, the next day I used to feel uncomfortable. After 1 year I had diarrhea then I'm having gastritis for which I have to take pan40 everyday since 1 year. Is it possible that long term use of Nexito20 made my digestion weak or it's coz of food that I had? I'm unable to stop both now. What can I do, my doctor don't know what to do. Help plz

If any particular medicine (Escitalopram in your case) causes some side effects or if you are unable to tolerate it at any particular dose, your doctor might consider switching to some other medicine based on your health, symptoms and side effect profile of the drug. It is best you trust your treating doctor and discuss it with him/her. All the best!
Health Tips
Switching to some other antidepressant might help you. *Do not*   abruptly   *stop* medicines on your own. Discuss it with your Psychiatrist.
