Oocyte is an ovum or what? You said oocyte from dinner can be fertilized by my husband semen and embryo be put on my uterus .how could it be done.moreover can ovum or oocyte be transfer from one person to the other?

Oocyte and ovum are the same
They can fertilised by the yr husband sperm in a laboratory settings and make an embryo out of it and then transfer the embryo inside yr uterus.
This is called IN VITRO FERTILISATION.
the natural process ( IN VIVO FERTILISATION) that occur normally inside the uterus is done artificially in laboratory.
Yes oocyte can be transferred.( Oocyte donation) for which u need to consult IVF SPECIALIST
