GORD and neusea and vomiting
I was diagnosed with GORD earlier on last year and have had persistent stomach pains in the top of my abdomen for nearly 4 years now I have been prescribed some anti nausea medicine but I am currently being sick and my throat is burning because the acid is really strong . Is there anything that this could be? My doctor hasn’t found a cause in the time this has been happening

A case of GERD is due to laxity or abnormal lower esophagal sphinter muscle... If symptoms do persist after medical management ( your medicine description is not clear ) then you need a surgical consultation as worsening reflux disease which is hampering your daily activity needs further investigations and endoscopy studies and a surgical line of treatment General advice for GERD patinets: Avoid going to sleep soon after dinner give atleast 2-3 hours Avoid tea , coffee and milk especially during the night Try to keep your head little elevated while sleeping We generally prescribe a drug to reduce the acid secretion
