My daughter diagnosed grade 4 vur at 1.5 years . Medicated with anti biotics and doing fine. She is 2.5 years now v had mcug and dmsca can (repeat) which shows kidney function is 100 no issue reflux is improving grade is 4 but turbocity reduced (urine going back) urologist suggest to hold on for surgery for six month. Is it safe to wait as I've heard grade 4 spontaneous resolution is less

If your child is having febrile Urine infections despite antibiotics, your child need surgery for VUR
One can wait till age of 5 years and even more if child is asymptomatic.
Surgery for VUR do not decrease or increase the future possibility of kidney disease.
