I have chronic jaw pain which I took MRI&CT scan. No relief.
Went to dentist and he spotted tooth 46 hurting for tapping and biting pressure. did cbct scan which was normal. Xrays normal. But tooth was painful was tapping and biting. So did RCT , no changes. Did 2 other rounds of retreatment and didn't help. That tooth 46 and gums of 46 and 47 was always hurting since 2020.
No dental work done on 47. Gums are very painful in the 47 region and I scream when they probe or touch that gum.
I ended up pulling 46 because its so painful for tapping biting etc. But cbct scans all clear and Dr suspect it could be causing my jaw pain and tried extraction without any definite findings on 46.
No relief after ext. Same symptoms on jaw pain and gum pain.
Gum of 47 hurts a lot and always throbbing. That tooth has tartar buildup on it and other teeth were fine as I do floss.
But 47 has tartar buildup on tooth gum margin and that gum margin on the distal side always hurts. Any issue seen on 47?
