Normally 50 to 100 hair fall happens everyday. But if its more than that we call it as telogen effluvium. The reasons could be past 6 months if you have suffereddrom major illness like dengue, tyhoid, etc, major surgeries, stress, hormonal imbalance,  nutritional deficiencies like iron deficiency or vit b 12 deficiency etc. So check the Hb, thyroid. In females we have to rule out PCOS, so get ultrasound done. Peptide serums available, oral biotin supplements(tab harvest, tab xtraglo, tab keraboost etc) help in hair loss.  But with your description you are having female pattern  baldness which is either due to hereditary or due to PCOS. Stop all home remedies first. Use minoxidil 5%solution morning and night.  You can prevent further hair loss and only 20% improvement will be seen at the end of 1 year. Have patience the treatment will show improvement only after 6 months.Myth about hair loss is shampooing doesn't cause hair fall or hair growth or greying of hair. It just cleans your scalp. Oiling wil not grow your hair
Next Steps
CBC THYROID PROFILE SERUM VIT B 12. pelvic ultrasound bet 2nd to 5th day of menses to r/o PCOS. consult me through practo direct if further queries
